Thursday, May 28th, 2009Brant, of Ocean Isle Fishing Center, reports that the dolphin bite is still solid at the blue water hotspots. The action’s been better to the east at spots like the 100/400 and the Blackjack Hole than it has been down south at the Winyah Scarp. Skirted ballyhoo will produce bites from the dolphin.

Topsail Island May 28, 2009
Thursday, May 28th, 2009Chris, of East Coast Sports, reports that pier anglers had a good week, catching spadefish, some fat pompano, and some spot while bottom fishing with shrimp. Bluefish and a few spanish mackerel are falling for Gotcha plugs and diamond jigs cast from the planks.
