Weigh-In: Wrightsville Beach Marina, Wrightsville Beach, NC
One Day Fishing: Saturday, May 17, 2008 (always
the weekend before Memorial Day weekend)

Registration, captain’s meeting, and captain’s dinner are all at Wild Wing Cafe (they are no longer at Wrightsville Beach Marina—only the weigh-in is at WB Marina)
Registration: Friday, May 16, from 3:00-9:00 at Wild Wing Cafe
Captains’ Meetings: Friday, May 16, at 5:00 and at 7:00 at Wild Wing Cafe
Awards Dinner: Saturday, May 17, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Wild Wing Cafe
Awards Ceremony: Saturday, May 17, at 8:00 pm at Wild Wing Cafe
Two Divisions: Flounder and Speckled Trout
(one entry gets you into both divisions)
Entry Fee: $125 per boat before May 1;
$150 per boat after May 1
(can pay up until 9:00pm on Friday, May 16)

Bonus payouts for flounder and trout weighed in alive
LIVE FLOUNDER & TROUT BONUS: Weigh in your
flounder and/or trout alive and get an extra $20 payout (flounder and/or
trout must be on the leader board).
Guaranteed Cover Appearance: The Spring Inshore
Challenge is the only tournament that can guarantee the winner a cover
shot with Fisherman's Post Newspaper.
Weigh-In Times: Scales will open at 1:00 and
you must be in line by 4:00
"Beat the Record" Prize: Beat the
tournament record for either flounder (10.47 lbs.) or trout (7.26 lbs.)
and you'll win a custom-made, hand-crafted, copper art work of a
flounder or trout. The art works were created by R. Hanes Hoffman of Bluewater
Copper Works.
"Heaviest Fish" Prize: Weigh in the
tournament's heaviest fish and win a free fiberglass reproduction of your
catch. This prize is donated by Hunter's
Haven.
Club Cup: A trophy will be awarded to the fishing
club member that catches the heaviest fish of the tournament. The name
of the angler and the fishing club will be engraved on the trophy, and
the winning fishing club will retain possession of the cup until the next
year's tournament.
