QUICK FACTS

Entry Fee: $125 per boat before May 19; $150 per boat after May 19
Over $15,000 in cash and prizes to be awarded (based on 100 entries)

Winners based on boat’s single heaviest flounder and/or single heaviest red drum

TWTs: Flounder, Red Drum, and Aggregate

One Day of Fishing
No Checkouts & No Boundaries

Live Weigh-In encouraged but not required (no penalties)
Fish with as many anglers on your boat as you like (no limitations)

Registration: Friday, May 30, from 3:00-8:00 pm at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center
Captains’ Meetings: Friday, May 30, at 5:00 pm and at 7:00 pm at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center
Captains’ Party: Friday, May 30, from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center
Fishing Time: Saturday, May 31, from 6:00 am-4:00 pm (no lines in the water before 6:00 am)
Weigh-In: Saturday, May 31, from 1:00-4:00 pm (must be in line by 4:00 pm) at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center
Awards Party: Saturday, May 31, from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center
Awards Ceremony: Saturday, May 31, at 6:00 pm at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center

SPECIAL PRIZES

Live Weigh-In Bonus: Weigh in your flounder and/or red drum alive and get an extra $20 payout per fish (flounder and/or red drum must be on the leaderboard).

SeaTow Prize: SeaTow will be awarding a $100 gift certificate (to the Ocean Isle Fishing Center) to the SeaTow member that weighs in the heaviest flounder.

Guaranteed Junior Angler Prizes: Each junior angler that weighs in a flounder or red drum will receive a Betts Old Salt cast net (limit one per boat).

Century Rods Prize: Every boat that weighs in a flounder or red drum will be automatically entered into the Century Rods Raffle where we are giving away a factory-custom Century rod ($300+). The Century Rods Raffle will be drawn Saturday at the Awards Ceremony, and you must be present to win.

 

BENEFICIARIES

The South Brunswick High School Aquaculture Program students learn the importance of science, environmental awareness, responsibility, citizenship, and service to the community. The SBHS Aquaculture Program’s goal is to increase the population of southern flounder in Southeastern NC while educating young students about the importance of the flounder fishery and fisheries management in general.
