The South Brunswick High School Aquaculture Program students learn the importance of science, environmental awareness, responsibility, citizenship, and service to the community. The SBHS Aquaculture Program’s goal is to increase the population of southern flounder in Southeastern NC while educating young students about the importance of the flounder fishery and fisheries management in general.
The North Carolina Coastal Federation has worked for over 30 years to protect and enhance North Carolina’s water quality and coastal resources through environmental education programming, oyster restoration projects, shoreline protection efforts, and citizen-based advocacy.
