    SURF FISHING CHALLENGE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Fisherman’s Post Newspaper is looking to work with area sponsors to help make the Pleasure Island Surf Fishing Challenge an ongoing success. The Pleasure Island Surf Fishing Challenge will again be supporting and creating awareness for the Big Buddy Program of New Hanover County. Sponsoring the Pleasure Island Surf Fishing Challenge is a great opportunity for your business to promote itself to potential customers. Get your business in front of the large surf fishing community–both locals and visitors–of New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick counties.

Market your business, expose potential clients to your services, and create a favorable impression of your business by aligning yourself with this very popular and highly visible surf fishing tournament (and the proceeds go to a great cause).

The Big Buddy Program, a program of the Wilmington Cape Fear Volunteer Center, is a volunteer organization of adults who serve as reliable and trusting friends to boys and girls in need of positive role models. The Big Buddy program has been in the Wilmington community for 34 years, helping over thousands of inner-city youth.

The Pleasure Island Surf Fishing Challenge, in conjunction with the Cape Fear Volunteer Center, will also be participating in National Make A Difference Day.

For more information on becoming part of this fundraising event, please contact Eddie Hardgrove at (910) 264-5487 or surf@fishermanspost.com.
