This two-part session covers all of the basics for catching keeper flounder from both nearshore waters (0-5 miles) and inshore waters.  The two-hour program includes detailed discussions on the when’s (seasons and water temperatures), the where’s (types of locations to seek out both in the ocean and in the ICW and creeks), the what’s (live bait and artificial rigs), and the how’s (best strategies for implementing both live and artificial baits).

Simple Techniques for Summer Kings & Mahi
with Capt. Jim Sabella of Plan 9 Charters

This two-part session covers the simplest ways possible to catch the summertime kings and mahi that move in as close as 5-15 miles offshore. The two-hour program includes detailed discussions on the when’s (dates and water temperatures), the where’s (specific locations out of Masonboro and Topsail-area inlets), the what’s (rigs that don’t require live bait, and some that require no bait at all), and the how’s (3-4 line spreads that will produce).
