Fisherman’s Post Newspaper is looking to work with area sponsors to help make the second year of the Crystal Coast Surf Fishing Challenge a huge success. Our annual fall surf fishing event in Carolina Beach continues to be very popular (attracting almost 500 anglers to visit their beach last fall), and the Crystal Coast surf fishing culture is just as strong and ready for a well-run, family-friendly surf fishing event.

Sponsoring the Crystal Coast Surf Fishing Challenge is a great opportunity for your business to promote itself to numerous potential customers. Your support of this tournament will get your business in front of the large surf fishing community—both locals and visitors—of southeastern North Carolina.

Market your business, expose potential clients to your services, and create a favorable impression of your business by aligning yourself with what is sure to be a very popular, strongly marketed, and highly visible surf fishing tournament (and the proceeds go to a great cause).

This year the Crystal Coast Surf Fishing Challenge will be donating proceeds to the Cape Fear Community College Marine Technology Club. The Marine Technology Club serves as a platform for students in the program to be actively involved in their field of study. This includes volunteer work with future and potential employers, as well as community service. The club gives students opportunities to interact and learn from others who work in marine environments, and it also encourages teamwork, responsibility, leadership, and scholarship.

In addition to the different sponsorship levels to choose from, there are several other ways to get involved: donate prizes for the raffle; donate items for the participants’ bags; volunteer your time to help us work the event; and/or enter as a contestant.
