  • SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Fisherman’s Post Newspaper is looking to work with area sponsors to help make its Spring Inshore Challenge another fundraising success.  The Spring Inshore Challenge has quickly become the area’s premiere inshore saltwater fishing tournament, and proceeds from the event will once again be donated to the Cape Fear Community College Marine Technology Club.

The Spring Inshore Challenge is a great opportunity for your business to promote itself to potential customers.  Sponsoring this tournament will get your business in front of the large saltwater fishing community (both visitors and locals) of southeastern North Carolina.

Market your business, expose potential clients to your services, and create a favorable impression of your business by aligning yourself with this very popular and highly visible fishing tournament (and the proceeds go to a great cause).

The Marine Technology Club at Cape Fear Community College serves as a platform for students in the Marine Technology program to be actively involved in their field of study. This includes volunteer work with future and potential employers, as well as community service. The club gives students opportunities to interact and learn from others who live and work in marine environments, and it also encourages teamwork, responsibility, leadership, and scholarship.

In addition to the different sponsorship levels to choose from, there are several other ways to get involved: donate prizes for the raffle; donate items for the captains’ bags; sponsor one of the tournament’s special awards (ex. Lady, Junior, and/or Senior Angler); volunteer your time; and/or enter a boat as a contestant.
