    Entry Fee: $125 per boat before September 6;
                    $150 per boat after September 6
    Over $14,000 in cash and prizes to be awarded (based on 100 entries)

    SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

    (all events held at Inlet Watch Yacht Club, Wilmington, NC)
    Registration: Friday, September 17, from 3:00-8:00 pm
    Rules Meetings: Friday, September 17, at 5:00 pm and at 7:00 pm
    Captains’ Party: Friday, September 17, from 4:00-8:00 pm
    Fishing Time: Saturday, September 18, from 7:00 am-4:00 pm (no lines in the water before 7:00 am)
    Weigh-In: Saturday, September 18, from 1:00-4:00 pm (must be in line by 4:00 pm)
    Awards Ceremony: Saturday, September 18, at 6:00 pm

    Primary Payouts: Primary Payouts based on boat’s two heaviest flounder (may weigh up to two flounder).

    Big Fish TWT ($50): 1st–$1,700; 2nd–$1,020; 3rd–$680
        Big Fish TWT payouts based on 80 paid entries

        Two Fish TWT payouts based on 80 paid entries

    High Roller Big Fish TWT ($100): 1st–$2,125; 2nd–$1,275; 3rd–$850
        High Roller TWT payouts based on 50 paid entries

    TWTs: TWTs are voluntary. The Big Fish and High Roller TWTs are based on boat’s one heaviest flounder, and the two Fish TWT is based on boat’s two-fish aggregate weight. 

    Special Prizes

    SeaTow Prize: This award goes to heaviest flounder weighed in by boat with a current SeaTow membership (a $250 gift certificate to Tex’s Tackle).

    Got-Em-On Prize: This award goes to the heaviest flounder weighed in by a current Got-Em-On Club member.

    Bell-Hart Marine Prize: This award goes to the heaviest of up to two fish weighed in by a boat with a Mercury engine.

    “Beat the Record” Prize: Beat the tournament record of a two-flounder aggregate weight of  15.92 lbs. and you’ll win a custom-made, hand-crafted, copper art work of a flounder. The art work was created by Matt Davis of Marine Copper Design.

    Guaranteed Junior Angler Photos: The N.C. Flatfish Championship is the only tournament that can guarantee that each junior angler that weighs in a fish will have his/her photo published in Fisherman’s Post Newspaper.
