Mark, at Shallow Minded Guide Fishing, reports that fishing has been hit or miss with the hot weather and high winds.
Flounder have been biting well in Cherry Grove, with some double digit days. Fish are only averaging 13 to 15 inches.
Redfish are pushing along the grass in the ICW, and they will be there to bite one day and down the bank a good ways to bite another day. They have also been very sporadic at the Little River jetties.
The big bull redfish should be at the jetties any week now.
Pogies are being found from the Sunset Beach Bridge to Little River, while the big pogies for offshore have arrived just outside the inlet.
Good catches of king mackerel have been reported from the 410/510 area.

Patrick, at Captain Smiley’s Fishing Charters, reports that the flounder bite is good. The best plan is to drift live baits in the inlets and creeks.
Red drum are hitting Berkley Gulps in Bonaparte Creek.
And fishing live shrimp around the creeks and pilings has been very good for targeting black drum.

Steve, at Sea Hunt Charters, reports that the wind and seas have held gulf stream anglers up at the docks. Trips this week will involve anchoring up on ledges and targeting both bottom fish and the pelagics instead of the usual trolling.
Flying a kite with a live bait will entice any dolphin, wahoo, or kingfish that’s around, while anglers bottom fishing the ledge should fill the box with grouper and snapper.
