NC Flatfish Sponsorship Opportunities
Fisherman’s Post Newspaper is looking to work with area businesses and individuals to help make the N.C. Flatfish Championship a fundraising success. The N.C. Flatfish Championship is the benchmark of area flounder fishing tournaments, and proceeds from the event will be donated to the North Carolina Coastal Land Trust.
The N.C. Flatfish Championship is a great opportunity for your business to promote itself to potential customers. Sponsoring this tournament will get your business in front of the large saltwater fishing community (both locals and visitors) of New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick counties.
Market your business, expose potential clients to your services, and create a favorable impression of your business by aligning yourself with this very popular and highly visible fishing tournament (and the proceeds go to a great cause).
The North Carolina Coastal Land Trust is a non-profit that enriches the coastal communities of our state through the acquisition natural areas, conservation education, and the promotion of good land stewardship. The Coastal Land Trust is active throughout the Coastal Plain of North Carolina: its beaches, river corridors, farms, forests and marshes, its sandhills and savannas, its public parks and greenways. They aspire to bring together citizens and landowners, natives and newcomers, to set aside lands for conservation. In only 15 years, the Coastal Land Trust has preserved more than 40,000 acres of land in North Carolina’s coastal plain.
In addition to the different sponsorship levels to choose from, there are several other ways to get involved: donate prizes for the raffle; donate items for the captains’ bags; volunteer your time to help us work the event; and/or enter a boat as a contestant.
