Wilmington's John Donovan with the 4.12 lb. flounder that he weighed in at the Carolina Beach Inshore Challenge, one of the three fish that made up the 16.65 lb. aggregate weight that earned him first place in the Flounder Division of the Fisherman's Post Inshore Tournament Trail. Sarah and Scott Hunt, of the "Double Shot" fishing team, with a quartet of spanish mackerel including the trio that earned the crew first place in the Wide Open Tech Spanish Mackerel Open. The spaniards bit trolled Clarkspoons near the Liberty Ship.

Marty Edwards and Kenneth Crisco topped the leaderboard at the Bay Creek Classic with this 7.25 lb. flounder. Crisco hooked the big flatfish while casting a large mullet to a deep hole in the Lockwood Folly River.
