Patrick, at Captain Smiley’s Fishing Charters, reports that fish are scattered everywhere. The Sunset Beach Bridge has been productive with trout (up to 2 lbs.) and some redfish hitting Gulp baits.

Fishing Tubbs Inlet with live pogies has been good for flounder in the 13 to 20” range and speckled trout up to 2 lbs.

Little River Inlet on either tide has yielded some nice over-the-slot redfish on cut or live pogies. Other spots to try for reds in the 18 to 28” range have been Bonaparte Creek and the shell banks around Fort Randall.

Mark, at Shallow Minded Guide Fishing, reports that the nearshore artificial reefs are yielding good numbers of spadefish and a few cobia. Use cut pieces of jellyballs to catch the spades.

Just outside Little River Inlet there are plenty of spanish mackerel to be caught.

Tubbs Inlet has still been good for some flounder on live bait. And a few speckled trout and redfish are still scattered around. They’re hitting live baits as well.
